The Global Transformation Forum is back

By Friday March 10th, 2017 No Comments

The inaugural Global Transformation Forum in 2015 was a resounding success. It was the first and the only of its kind and Kuala Lumpur provided the setting where many shared and discussed transformative actions and experiences at the governmental, business and individual level.

The GTF is still the sole platform where some of the world’s most influential leaders can engage and share experiences as well as best practices on how to drive transformation at the said levels. I also remember sharing Malaysia’s own transformation story which began in 2009 when we decided that the Government and the private sector should work hand-in-hand to reenergise our economy, which led to the establishment of PEMANDU.

In GTF 2015, the Malaysian Government played host to over 3,000 attendees from 76 countries who had the privilege of listening first-hand to the personal accounts of world-renowned icons such as actor-turned-politician Arnold Schwarzenegger or better known as the ‘Terminator’, former Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme and Prime Minister of New Zealand Helen Clark, eagle-eyed six-time winner of FIFA’s ‘Best Referee of the Year’ Pierluigi Collina, as well as Starbucks co-founder Zev Siegl.

In the last instalment, people from all walks of life benefitted from the transformational stories of those iconic leaders which included Dato’ Sri Idris Jala’s breakdown of the Big Fast Results Methodology, the role of transformational leadership in promoting women as the new capital as well as Arnold Schwarzenegger’s self-discipline in his successful Hollywood, government and corporate career.

This time around, we can only do better. We have an even bigger star-studded line-up of speakers for the GTF 2017. Some of the biggest names who will be sharing their accounts of courage and determination include Jack Ma, the Executive Chairman of Alibaba Group, Sir Richard Branson, the Founder of Virgin Group, Usain Bolt, the world’s fastest man, Chris Gardner, entrepreneur and author, David Coulthard, winner of 13 F1 Grand Prix, Jamila Abass, CEO & Co-Founder of M-Farm, Dr Paul Romer, Chief Economist & Senior VP of the World Bank, among others.

I am sure you will be inspired by the outstanding personalities whose own success stories have all been marked by transformative endeavours and I warmly welcome you to join the GTF 2017. And to borrow the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Global Transformation Forum is back. Should you require more information, visit http://globaltransformation.com/. See you at the GTF 2017!
