I am honoured by President Jacob Zuma’s invitation to the African National Congress (ANC) 100th anniversary next year. Both he and the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani have expressed their keenness to expand their respective country’s relationships with Malaysia.
I am very pleased with the various positive developments achieved during CHOGM this year for all Commonwealth countries and particularly to Malaysia. I look forward to Malaysia gaining the benefits from these developments.
I ended my hectic schedule in Australia by hosting an Australian-style barbecue at the Burswood Park for the Malaysian community in Perth. It was a good way to unwind and relax with fellow Malaysians who showed the eminent spirit of 1Malaysia.
