I believe that change is the only constant. As a growing nation we shouldn’t be complacent, but must consciously strive to better ourselves and thereafter create an even better environment for future generations. The recipients of the Merdeka Award truly embody this philosophy.

I reaffirmed the stand that the NEP will not be abolished. However, it needs some adjustments to improve the weaknesses of the existing system.
