PERMODALAN Nasional Berhad will not interfere in the administrative and operational matters of companies that it invested in.
Finance Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said the matters were under the responsibility of the board of directors in accordance with the law.
“If there is any offence committed, the board will take necessary action based on the law,” he said in a reply to a question by Wee Choo Keong (PKR-Wangsa Maju).
Wee wanted to know PNB’s action against former Golden Hope Plantationchief executive Datuk Sabri Ahmad who allegedly caused RM120 million in futures trading losses.
