TAWAU, Feb 17 (Bernama) — Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor today passed on her husband Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s message that women’s associations continue to support the Barisan Nasional government (BN).

She said Najib wanted their continuous support to ensure that the BN government is victorious in the 13th general election and continue the development agenda.

“No other governments can boost our quality of life. People in some countries wanted to change their government but they are quarrelling until today.

“I always advise the people not to change what is already good. We all have food, clothes, our children go to school, the government pays our medical bills. “No other governments pay for treatments, education for the children. We also get numerous subsidies. This is the best government for us,” she said during a get together with women associations in the Kalabakan Parliamentary Constituency at the residence of Kalabakan Member of Parliament Datuk Abdul Ghapur Salleh.

In this regard, Rosmah urged the BN component party members not to squabble with one another and to back every candidate picked by the top leadership.

She said Najib also urged the coalition party leaders and members to place priority to country, party and leaders over and above self-interest.

According to Rosmah her husband wanted all members and leaders of BN to be united and avoid creating problems as their inputs were much needed.

The Prime Minister’s programme today was to open the Sejahtera Aquaculture Mini Estate Project in Kampung Nala, Tungku and visit the Palm Oil Industry Cluster (POIC), both in Lahad Datu, about 190km from here.

Rosmah also urged women associations in Sabah to champion women affairs to turn out more successful women in various sectors for the betterment of society.
