GEORGE TOWN, April 13 (Bernama) — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin will conduct separate working visits to Penang on April 22 and 26, respectively.
State Umno Liaison Committee chairman Datuk Zainal Abidin Osman said the Prime Minister would meet 5,000 Barisan Nasional supporters at the Bukit Jawi Golf Club in Nibong Tebal at 9.30am.
“Najib will then join 25,000 people for lunch at a 1Malaysia Feast at Kampung Simpang Tiga in Nibong Tebal,” he told Bernama here, Friday.
The Prime Minister is also scheduled to attend a dialogue with non-governmental organisations representing the Chinese and Indian communities at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) before returning to Kuala Lumpur at 6pm.
Zainal said Muhyiddin would begin his visit by meeting factory workers at the Western Digital factory in Bayan Lepas, here, at 9.30am.
The Deputy Prime Minister would also have lunch with 5,000 residents in Bayan baru, including members fishermen’s and farmers’ associations in Taman Iping, Batu Maung here.
Muhyiddin would then open the Penang Carnival at the Seberang Perai Polytechnic campus and attend a gathering with 5,000 people at Juru, Batu Kawan in Seberang Perai in the evening, before returning home.
