SEPANG, March 2 (Bernama) — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak left for Australia Wednesday for a three-day official visit to strengthen bilateral relations.
Najib, who was accompanied by his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, left in a special aircraft at about 10am from the KL International Airport here.
The visit is at the invitation of Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard, in reciprocation to her visit to Malaysia last year.
This is Najib’s maiden visit to Australia as prime minister.
