KUCHING, June 17 (Bernama) — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak arrived here Wednesday for a two-day official visit to Sarawak.
Najib and his wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, were accorded a traditional Sarawak welcome after they flew in to the Kuching International Airport at 4.15pm.
Sarawak Chief Minster Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud led Cabinet ministers and local dignitaries in welcoming Najib and Rosmah who were also greeted by thousands of people, some of them waving Barisan Nasional (BN) flags.
This is Najib’s second visit to the state in less than a week. He had attended the Malaysian Gawai Dayak Open House 2009 here last Saturday.
