Najib To Visit Selangor On Sunday

SHAH ALAM, Feb 24 (Bernama) — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak is to make a one-day visit to Selangor on Sunday.

He is scheduled to begin the visit with a meeting with grassroots leaders and farmers and fishermen in the Sabak Bernam district.

Selangor Barisan Nasional (BN) coordinator Datuk Seri Mohd Zin Mohamed said Najib is scheduled to hand over aid to the farmers and fishermen and then stop by at the Sungai Besar police station.

The prime minister will attend a lunch with the people of Sekinchan at SRJK (C) Yoke Kuan and perform the ground-breaking for the construction of 18 additional classes of the school at a cost of RM1.5 million.

“He will hand over the keys to a house provided under special aid to a resident, Sia How Lian, in Sekinchan,” Mohd Zin told Bernama.

He said Najib is scheduled to attend Zohor prayers at the Kampung Kuantan Mosque in Kuala Selangor and chat with officials from mosques and suraus in the Kuala Selangor area.

The prime minister will also call at the home of a resident Batu 6, Kampung Asahan, and mingle with the local community.

He is also scheduled to visit an agricultural exposition in Port Klang and launch the Selangor BN election machinery.

Najib will also join about 50,000 people at a “Ponggal” carnival at the TNB field in Batu 9, Kapar.
