SEPANG: Barisan Nasional will fulfil all the promises it has made during campaigning for the tri-elections, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said.
“We will ensure that we fulfil and implement what we have promised to the people in all three areas.
“What we don’t want are ‘instant mee’ projects but projects that really bring benefit to the people,” he said after attending the 2009 Petronas Malaysian F1 Grand Prix yesterday.
Najib said victory in Bukit Gantang, Bukit Selambau and Batang Ai would give a meaningful boost to the Government in weathering the political and economic challenges.
Asked about his Cabinet line-up, Najib quipped: “I don’t know yet. I have been busy with F1.”
In Taiping, Umno deputy president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said Najib has instructed Cabinet ministers to go to the ground to solve problems faced by the people.
Bernama reports that Najib is expected to have a better idea on forming the new Cabinet when he meets leaders of Barisan component parties in Putrajaya today.
