KUALA LUMPUR, April 13 (Bernama) — Kelab Penyokong 1Malaysia Penang will organise a closed-door meeting and interaction between Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and Chinese non-governmental organisations (NGO) in Penang on April 22.
Organising chairman Lim Boo Chang said the closed-door meeting was scheduled to be held at Dewan Tuanku Syed Putra, Universiti Sains Malaysia, starting at 3pm.
“We have invited all the Chinese NGOs in Penang to attend. This is the first time we are organising such an event. There will be a question-and-answer session where the Chinese NGOs can give feedback and suggestions to the prime minister,” he told Bernama Friday.
He hoped the Chinese NGOs in Penang would take the opportunity to interact with and give their feedback to the prime minister’s transformation plan, particularly to include Penang in it.
